On Saturday, May 5, 2012, students from around Arkansas and surrounding states will gather at Hendrix College to collaborate in a day of music. In this challenging and musically intensive setting, students have the opportunity to improve and deepen their musical skills.

Selection Process
The Festival of Winds Honor Band includes approximately 90 students selected from nominations submitted by high school music teachers. Selection is based on the individual student's musical experiences as well as comments provided by his or her music teacher. The information on the nomination form is also be used to determine seating within the section.
